ICEBERG since 1974 @Lfwm19 #ICEBERG1974

‘Going underground, going underground. Well, let the boys all sing and let the boys all shout for tomorrow.’

At the truman buildings on day 2 #lfwm. There is an air of positive rebellion at ICEBERG for SS20 where youth tribes and cuultures meet and combine in hyoer colour and monochrome. Where, in the imagination of James Long, the Punks of Kings Road hang out with the Sloanes and Hoorays of Knitghtsbridge and South Kensington Goths.

Kicking off with ICEBERG x PETER BLAKE who’s instantly recognisable riot of pop-art graphics cover shirt and trouser full looks, mini dresses and easy knits. His seminal Babe Rainbow and Amerika artworks(a technically intricate sweater of bird’s -eye intarsia, jacquard and embroidery) , hearts, rainbows and Mod target unify across clothes and accessories and are reflected in see -now-buy-now ICEBERG X Linda Farrow shades.

Colour blocked fluid maxi looks in satin, chiffon and crepes for her and Cupro wash -effect silk joggers and matching bomber in a soft turquoise for him. Name belts, vibram sole trainers, trouser legs, necks and ears are adorned and drip with chains: Le Goth Sportif

The high shine of a Mod ‘tonic’ suit morphs into silver zip jackets, Bermuda shorts, and bungee tied trousers. A tee shirt is bound tightly with the same intergral ropes. For the ICEBERG woman Tonal Punky Flower orchids climb over chic tailoring into fluro primaries on white. Worn with crisp shirts and a matching tie sheis the Mod in modern.

The Kalissi AW19 drowns itself in opulent, rich, details such as pearls and ruffles., juxtaposed by ontemporary shapes and bright, youthful colours. An air of humour mixed with an air of the aristocratic creates the unconvential signature of the new collection.

The designer’s use of bold colours and nostalgic silhouettes pay tribute to iconic trends with a fresh direction.

Th confident fabrics and playful details stem from the designer’s unique background in textiles and graphic design.

Gayeon Lee – AW 2019 – London Fashion Week

Day One – @ Gayeon Lee

Loved everything about this presentation. So many elements that make this collection quirky and fun. Her passion for fine art and deep understanding of textile design is evident throughout. Revealing style inspiration for new possibilies in texture, shape and proportion.

Day 4 #lfw19

Paul Costelloe was my first show on Monday morning @ Simpsons on the strand. The show location is always at venue that echoes the theme of the show, elegant and inspirational.

This season for Autumn / Winter 2019 -20 , Paul Costelloe shows his mastery of tailoring. With striking, military inspired coats in pure Italian wool, they lead a collection full of rich colour, reminiscent of the Tsars and a homecoming from War, an escape from austerity and what is to come…

The military looks opened the show with striking coats, jackets styled with latex trousers, shorts and statement jewellery by NJO designs.

Opulent, mill-engineered velvet, corduroy with lavish handle, in autumnal shades of gold and claret, add to an array of flower strewn day to evening pieces, including pencil skirts with over-sized Aran Knitwear, day dresses in subtle woven patterns and aristocratric inspired long, billowing gowns fit for a princess.

This season, Paul Costelloe Bags introduce a collection of substantial leather pieces, with a decidedly military feel, including crossovers, satchels and belt bags with brass detail bring this outstanding collection together.

In times like these, belief is more relevant than ever before ….

‘Something for Everyone’ – campaign shot by Cole Sprouse.

Handags were on point for this collection. Resembling luxury design brands for affordable prices. Meaning i can afford them All:)

The Bamboo bags were a hot favourite for me. They will add instant chic to any SS19 look.

Neon is a BIG trend for SS19 … Penney’s accessories will add to your glowing tan

Looove the Over Sized Beach Bag … you can bring everything & the kitchen sink in this number 👌🏖🔫☀️

Prints are always a sure thing for summer months, perfect for festivals, holidays and long weekends.  Polkadot, tye dye and floral  are standout pieces.

The Boiler suit is a dreamy all-in -one must have, available in Khaki & denim …easy to style and ready to go in a flash… I also loved the fringe detail on a vibrant burnt amber dress. Festival feels for this number!

Animal Print is with us forever and a personal favourite. These 3 styles are perfect for summer parties . The saddle bag is the ‘ IT BAG ‘ for SS19…❤️❤️❤️

Life Magazine – The darkest hour…. @SundayIndo

This shoot was loosly based on the tv drama series, ‘The Handmaidens Tail’. I tried to capture the dark storyline with the looks i styled for each shot. We shot on 2 locations in Wicklow, by the sea shore in wicklow town & at Brittas bay beach. The light was perfect on shoot day to add to the ambiance of the theme.

Red, green and back were the main colours throughout the shoot. I also incorporated head pieces/ hoods to reflect on the theme.

Model Paula Pancer @ Morgan the Agency was a super star on the day!  Beauty inside and out…

Thank you to all the team for a wonderful shoot and to Constance Harris @ Life Magazine for the feature xxx
